*nods* I found a few of those, they're not terribly helpful in that it seems to require me to download more software which I'm reluctant to do. However, I have managed to perform a system restore, which hasn't restored AVG to me but has at least solved the CPU usage problem which made me look for a virus in the first place. If I can just get an anti-virus program working, I'll be ok I think....
