I was supposed to be halfway to London right now, getting ready to meet annuala and elfsausage and I'm not, I'm at home sulking. Why? I hear you ask. Because when I went to get my ticket, my card was declined. On checking my account, I'm a ridiculous amount overdrawn. Again. Dammit!! *kicks things*

So I've let them know and elfsausage was lovely on the phone and just the cheerful voice I needed to hear, frankly. We'll try and sort something out for another day, hopefully.

In the meantime, I think today may well be spent watching ST:TNG while searching job sites. *snarls at HCC for the tight fisted gits they are*

In happier news, let's be sending oodles of good vibes to the ever lovely cookwitch for verily, she hath a job interview today! Good luck, hon! :)

I just tried to email you, but it bounced back to me. Sorry you couldn't make it. We're going up again to London next Tuesday--staying over because my flight out Wednesday leaves at 10 AM. We're thinking about Hampton Court Palace, if you could make that. :-)

Right--this seems the easiest way to reach you these days. ;-) elfsausage says it's totally doable, though I'll have to leave my bags at a left luggage because we'll be staying out at Heathrow that night & we've heard that the Tube will be on strike that day. :-p Any suggestions as to where we should meet up?

Well there are several nice places near King's Cross and I believe there are
some lines still working that would get you there. If not, there are plenty of buses that go there. So shall we say meet under the thunking big
arrivals/departures noticeboard of at *pauses to do sums* 7pm? Then we can stroll and see what we find. I shall consult cookwitch who works near there as to a good place to go :)
