Calling [livejournal.com profile] cookwitch!

(Or anyone else who knows the area around Kings X really well)

Planning to meet chums there for a meal tomorrow evening - this is the rearranged gathering that I was supposed to attend last Tuesday :) I seem to recall mention of many yummy type restaurants that you go to for lunch. What do you recommend that we might get into at short notice? Or even just turn up and look hungry and we'll get a table? Or are they all good at that and we should just stroll up a particular road and pick what takes our fancy?

:)

The one opposite me in Chalton Street. It's called Little Lebanon, and it is fab. Cheap, cheerful, HUGE pizzas and easy to et a table. Euston Road end of Chalton Street, and they are next door to a green grocers. They have red, greed and white paint on the outside and tables on the street. Pizzas, lebanese food, a set menu for 5.50 for 3 courses.

Their chocolate milkshakes are to die for, according to Mr Landmine.

Well the Tube strike totally scuppered our plans, so the meet is cancelled. Again. Sheesh, I think we're jinxed. However, I love the sound of Little Lebanon so much, I wanna eat there soon. Fancy meeting there one evening (when there's no transport difficulties for you to worry about) for food and gossip? :)
