I realised today that I've not posted the details here and I was asked today if there was a place to send flowers so here is the info.
The funeral is at 4pm Monday 7th April at the Garden of England Crematorium in Bobbing, Kent. It's been decided to have family flowers only; however we have chosen three charities that represent causes that were close to Aunty Eve's heart and if anyone wishes to make a donation in Aunty Eve's name, you are very welcome to do so - Macmillan Nurses, Marie Curie and the RSPCA.
I ordered my flowers today and I had to take a few minutes to settle myself down afterwards, it upset me more than I thought it would. I MUST send a complimentary email to Interflora because the chappie on the other end of the phone was brilliant - just the right amount of respect and reverence at the right time, business like at all times and brisk enough that I was able to say out loud what I wanted on the card without thinking about it too much and getting upset.
I was going to say a few words at the funeral but I'm thinking now I won't. I can't come up with anything substantially different from what the minister will say and she'll say it better than me anyway. Oddly enough, it was easier to think of what to say for my Mum's funeral...or maybe that isn't odd at all. I dunno. I'll call the minister tomorrow and natter to her about it.
In other news, work sucks and ShitStirrer isn't speaking to me again. Can it be next week now plz?
