I know exactly what you mean about the house. When my Gran died we had a wake in her house and had a wonderful day really but then we had to go back and clear it out and the last time I went there it was to make sure everything was gone when the house was sold and it was really awful. I lived there when I was very little for a while and so it's been part of my life since I was about 18 months. I played with the kids round there, and went to the local chapel and Sunday school, and we played in the garden and climbed the nearby mountain every time we went there as kids. So many memories and I won't ever go there again. I still think about it.
