...you amble sleepily into the lounge of a morning, pick up the cat's food dish to fill it up, turn to head into the kitchen and spot the large brown furry corpse lying on the carpet. There was a shriek and there may have been a brief shower of dried cat food.....

Seems Rob's decided to upgrade his hunting and bring in rats. Dear gods, it was a big sod. Thankfully it was very dead and it doesn't look like Rob got bit. He's been told sternly not to do that again, it gave me heart failure, not to mention totally squicking me out when I came to pick the damn thing up to put it into the bin. I'm not used to corpses that large. And still warm. *shudderfits*

It's enough to make me consider switching to a goldfish for a pet :P
