The interview has landed

Well it mostly went ok, as well as you can judge these things. I had one moment of total brain freeze but the interviewer was nice enough to nudge me a little and give me more time and I came up with what I think they were looking for. Otherwise I think I gave some good answers to questions. However, it was painfully obvious to me that my experience was coming up short of what they were looking for and yet, and yet, just maybe there's enough for them to take a chance on?

I dunno. I have a very nasty feeling they've got a wide pool of more experienced candidates to choose from. Still, I'm really pleased I got the interview, that's a positive thing. Now I'm just going to assume that I didn't get the job, so that I'm not totally crushed when/if I get the bad news. And no, I don't know when I'll hear, I assume sometime in the next week.

Thank you for all your good wishes! Onwards and upwards :)

Sounds like a sensible way of looking at things. Anything short of a total disaster is generally a good interview, IMO.

Agreed :)

*eyes icon* That so has to be photoshopped so that it says "BAMF!" :P

*peers* It *does* say "BAMF!," doesn't it?

*peers harder* Hrm. So it does. It always looks like "Bang" to me!

Oh, yeah! That's the question you're supposed to ask. "When can I expect to hear a decision?"

I always forget that one, too, and they lie to me about half the time, anyway.

I'm never sure whether to ask or not, it might sound too much like begging :P Anyway, they know I know where they work :P

*snugs* Thank you!

And if you're not busy this evening, could I have five minutes of your time via AIM? Ta :)

If you don't get it - at least the interviewers now know your name and what you're like. These things count for a lot.

on the positive side of taking you, they can pay you less since you have less experience.... :) *hugs* Good thoughts for you.
