Diane Duane

I've mentioned before that one of my very favourite authors is Diane Duane. She's been offline for a while, due to pesky real life problems, but is back and blogging again. She's just posted a link to an article she wrote about the uses of imagination and it's left me so astounded, I had to share.

Get yourself a mug of tea and have a read. It's thought provoking and funny at the same time.

And now I'm off to London to stalk meet strange American cartoonists. Catcha laters :) *wavies and scampers*

ooh, which American cartoonists?

(if it's mentioned in a previous post from today I apologise - I'm reading my friends page as it appears on screen which is most recent first)

Cartoonist, singular. Dylan Meconis aka [livejournal.com profile] quirkybird, who publishes an excellent weekly web comic called Family Man. Check it out and her earlier tale here (http://dylanmeconis.com/comics/index.html) :)

That was an excellent article, Mitchy--thanks for sharing. *considers adding Diane Duane to Mount TBR but knows not where to begin...*

Oh you must read DD, she's great :) Try the Young Wizards series or the Cat Wizard series (same universe) *nodsnodsnodsnodsnods*
