This one is going public for the RAM folks - sorry guys, I didn't mean to leave you out :)

The Mitchy is feeling a (little) bit better and rang me this evening, so for to update you: Still nil-by-mouth and for the last couple days craving just one small thing. An orange ice-lolly. Which she had made her peace with with until the woman in the bed across from her had ... an orange ice-lolly. Roughly as big as her head. So now Mitchy's plotting vengeance. I counselled her against midnight throttling attempts in case she tears stitches.

Her concentration is still pretty shot, and she's sleeping most of the time, which is the best thing really. She's going to be in there a while yet, so if you want to send cards or flowers the address again is:

Codicot Ward
Queen Elizabeth Hospital
Howlands
Welwyn Garden City
AL7 4HQ

iPod stuffing continues. I'm not rushing to get it to her because right now I'm thinking sleep is more required than entertainment, and this means I can take time to fill it more. Because so far I've maybe managed, like, 10% of the space in there o_0 If you have any ideas of what could go in, or cute cat stories, or random pictures, or anything at all just comment and I'll grab whatever you can send over :)

I got a text message from her this afternoon - she wanted to know how the Mets were doing.

*facepalms*

Re: iPod stuffing, I know she wanted KT Tunstall's Drastic Fantastic. And I'll poke around for some pics this weekend.

We was worried, not feeling left out...

Would she want an mp3 of the Torchwood radio play R4 put on last week to celebrate the switch on of the CERN Haddock Collider ? (I was thinking of mailing it as a CD for when she got home)

Where do we send stuff to?

*g* I meant left out of the news round, I'll do non-flock in future

I know she was watching Dr Who, I'm not sure about Torchwood but I'm guessing she'd appreciate it. If you could put it on something like Yousendit.com or SendSpace.com maybe? Then I can just download.

Okay, this be the first time I've tried SendSpace, so I hope it works properly -

Torchwood - Lost Souls : 40,578kb zip (6 tracks) :
http://www.sendspace.com/file/nkajua (http://www.sendspace.com/file/nkajua)

Modesty Blaise - I Had A Date With Lady Janet : 64,814kb zip file (9 tracks):
http://www.sendspace.com/file/bczhnz (http://www.sendspace.com/file/bczhnz)

(Mitchy's already got the Blaise somewhere at home, but she might like a youthful John Thaw reading her a bedtime story...)

Send Mitchy hugs from Rik, Carol and the Monkey, please

Rik S.

Bwah! Good plan! I'll put a couple on there I know she likes, but she doesn't really watch vids as a rule I don't think. otherwise it could have been gigs of vid

Harry Potter audiobooks are especially therapeutic in my opinion, especially to a [livejournal.com profile] mitchy who's finding reading too much of an effort right now.
