Saw mitchy over the weekend, she's recovering well, and has nearly no tubes any more. They've taken her off the morphine, which she's a little wistful about, but the pain is much better and she's much more together, able to read and the like. They've taken out some of the staples because she seems to be healing really cleanly & well. Real food has stopped bouncing and she is so much better for it. The QEII menu sounds positively appetising.

On Saturday she was expresing vague wishes for something to do other than read...

...on Sunday she was saying SQUEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE over her iPod and all the goodies loaded onto it. Troo visited in the early slot (2-4) and she was still squeaking when I got there about 6.30. The other patients and the nurses are all really impressed.

An overnight blood transfusion went a bit wrong, is fixed now but most technicolour. She says she's early for halloween.

She'll be in there a bit yet, I'd hope a card would get there ... I guess you could send it to Troo and she can take it in if Mitchy's still in, or bring it over if she's home?

Just to make sure you get the note - Mitchy may be leaving the hospital on Friday :) So sending a card to her place instead could be a plan

Am glad she's doing better - she must be sick of being in hospital!
