Er, sorry, I've not tried syncing from my PC to my iPod other than by adding stuff to the library and then syncing the library across. I hate iTunes, though, so I'm probably not much help ;)

While I think about it, have you ever read Martin Millar's _The Good Faeries Of New York_? Let me know, if not.

Yeh, I'm not an iTunes fan meself at the mo :)

No, I haven't read it, but that title seems familiar, I think someone mentioned it to me the other day. What's it about? :)

Faeries visiting New York, basically - but one of the lead characters is in a similar situation to yours, which may be why it was suggested ;) I have a copy I'm unlikely to read again; I'll stick it in the post...
