I was poking around in the fridge, looking for inspiration for lunch when I realised I had bacon, lettuce and tomato at my disposal. Which is why I've just finished a BLT sarnie that was roughly the size of my head.

*sighs happily*

And now for more The Unit and a large mug of tea. Gosh, this recuperation business doesn't half have its upsides :D

Experimenting with the hypothesis "cabbage can be made edible."

So far, adding some new potatoes & dousing it in cheese sauce seems to have worked, except that I'm still hungry.

Ooh found a great recipe for cabbage the other day. I'm not a fan of cooked cabbage but this made me buy a cabbage just to try the recipe out. Haven't done it yet but I will :) Lemme see if I can find it....*rummages* Ah! Here we go!
