Got another sick note for the rest of this month, to be followed up by an assessment by my doctor to see how well I'm doing. I think by the end of the month, she might clear me for another couple of weeks, max, which would give me time to go visit halcyon_shift and doccy, which would be great. I could use a break; I mean a proper break not in my own flat :P Might even wangle meeting a tithenai which would be awesome :)

For those not on the medical filter, the non-specific news is I no longer need to see the District Nurse, and I won't be having any more home visits from the stoma nurses, I will go to their clinic periodically instead. This is good progress :)

Mildly sulking today because the US obsession over the election meant there was some political debate broadcast last night instead of my usual TV shows, so there was nuffink for me to download and watch today. I was peeved. Doubly peeved when I noted that Private Practice won't be back on air until 5th November. What on earth does it need a 3 week break for, it's only aired 2 episodes! Feh! Stupid US TV schedules.

On the plus side, it freed up my afternoon for an unscheduled nap, and there's Bones and Cold Case on Sky tonight :D Yes, yes, I've already seen the Cold Case ep but now I can see it again, with subtitles :)

I feel your pain about the lack of programming last night, although I watched the debate.

Seriously, download an ep or two of Mad Men. You'll like it.
