LJ keeps acting up so I'm hastily making my daily post before it topples over sideways!

I did five hours at work today and I'm feeling it - you wouldn't think 1 lousy extra hour would make that much difference would you? Sheesh. Anyway, it was very peaceful, I had juuust enough work to do and the office was half empty for most of the day.

Oh and I took a picture of our blinged out tree :D

Awesome! Seriously, the tackiest tree I've ever seen was the one my youth group did when I was... hm... 14 I think. It was the first year we'd had a youth group with this church, and the pastor's wife helped us set up our room as a real hang-out, rather than just an empty Sunday school classroom.

We designated ourselves the 'Blue Crew' since we painted the room dark blue, and we ended up with a Christmas tree that had 0 needles. Seriously, totally bare, worse than Charlie Brown. We loved it. We played 'have yourself a tacky little christmas' and decorated it with every god awful broken ornament, glitzy ribbon, strung weird looking off color lights all over the room... seriously, it was awesome.

Sppoooooky - we have exackly the same weird 'beads-as-tinsel' stuff on our tree at work ... and a gold colour scheme ... did your buyers go shopping with whoever bought ours?
