OK, I need to stop going to bed at dawn. I didn't manage to see daylight at all today! Must get myself onto a sensible sleeping schedule.
So this is 2009, welcome, welcome. Let's hope it behaves better than its older brother 2008 :) I have no particular resolutions, except I really must try and eat more healthily and do more with my time than loafing on the sofa. In the meantime, I shall loaf on the sofa today and damn well enjoy it :)
Now if you'll excuse me, I need tea and food :)

Just thought of something I definitely want to do more of in 2009 - keeping up with the news. I must try to either read a couple of news websites (usually the BBC and one other) and watch one news programme a day whenever possible. I've been reading the "What happened in 2008" reviews and while I know most of the items from the first part of the year, I really slacked off during the second half. No more! :)

I need to start keeping up w/ the news again, too. For a while now, I've been burying my head in the sand in the hopes that it'll all just GO AWAY, but it's not, so I might as well learn to live with it. Plus I'm tired of people saying, "So, what do you think of...?" and me going "Huh?"

And yes, I'm tired of going "huh?" too :)

(...I also have Word of the Day, Quote of the Day, and my gmail account because they're kinda useful just being on there *s*)
