Bride Wars - eh. 3 stars because I'm a big sap and it made me giggle and I like the two leads but don't go and see it at the cinema for full price. Wait til the DVD's 2 quid on amazon or something. And make sure you have booze/chocolate/ice cream or all three :)

Talking of ice cream, I discovered a brand new (to me) flavour tonight - butter pecan. OMG! It was GORGEOUS! I need to hunt this down, anyone know if it's for sale generally?! Anyone? *begs*

I will also be sending a polite but firm letter to Cineworld Stevenage informing them that if they go to the trouble of putting hygiene alarms in the loos then it might be smart to actually pay attention to them. The ladies loo we used STANK to high heaven. It stank when I went in before the movie and it wasn't any better when [livejournal.com profile] thalinoviel tried it when we left. It also clearly hadn't been checked or cleaned in the 2 hours in between. Not good enough, Cineworld. Even your hygiene alarm was getting hacked off!

Butter pecan is pretty popular in the states, actually. Every place makes it. I guess this is another UK/US difference?

They tend to either have totally different flavours in each market (outside of the staples like vanilla and chocolate) so it's not a given that what you have we'll have and vice versa. I've not seen butter pecan over here but it might be available. *crosses fingers* There's also the possibility it has a totally different name, which is another pitfall. If not, I know what I'll be eating at every opportunity next time I'm over there - and I'm not generally a fan of ice cream! :)
