I had to pop into Morrison's on the way home, for milk and cat food, and naturally I went past the "OMG WE MUST SELL THIS FOOD TODAY LEST YOU BUY IT TOMORROW AND DIIIIEEE!" shelves and I hit the jackpot! I must have got there juuuust after they did the late evening re-pricing, when they lower the already lowered prices even more. I got an entire week's worth of meals for 3 quid! Bwahahahah!!!
Gotta love it when that happens :D
Work was ok, but a bit slow. FogHorn seems pleased with the work I'm doing though so that's good - she's said we need a one to one sit down this week, just to make sure I'm ok and that I'm ready to go to full time from next week. (I will be, I'm almost there now.)
I'll also be more than ready to start getting to work for before 9.30. I don't know if it's a result of all the office moves, with departments being moved to and from County Hall, but now you have to get into work for before 9.15 to stand any chance of getting a parking space. It's insane. I foresee ructions if this keeps up, because we're not one or two spaces short, we're dozens short. *shakes head* Sorting that problem out is going to be unmitigated hell for some poor sap. I mean, the only real solution is to build a new multi-storey car park but that could only be done by closing the ones we have......You see the problem? I am pretty sure that whatever they come up with will be a pain in the arse for practically everybody and probably not do anything to solve the problem! Cynical? Moi?!
