Well, that's not *entirely* true. There were a brief few minutes there late in the first half where they seemed to be fighting back. But after Lampard's goal was disallowed it was as though all the air was let out of their mental balloon and they just stopped. The whole second half was excruciating from the point of view of dignity.

The cricket was f*cking fantastic. Both England and Australia fielded an excellent team - talented individuals who really worked together. It was a incredibly tense end-game, we just barely squeaked a win against Tait's devastating bowling for the Ozzies.
