Most annoying character

I hear the actress is leaving the show. THAT might actually get me watching again because I could not STAND the character! Never have I wanted so desperately to reach through a TV screen and slap a character. Hard. Repeatedly. Wearing chainmail gloves.

*grinds teeth*

Of all the reasons I stopped watching Grey's - and there's a few - the character of Izzie has to be one of the biggest strikes.

One of the reasons I got talking to oucellogal was not only our mutual love of Cold Case and Kat Miller but our mutual loathing of Izzie Stevens. In fact, I'm sure she wrote a fic where Izzie was killed off in the first paragraph. I liked that fic :D

I did write a fic where she was killed off in the first paragraph. It was a very fun fic to write.

Izzie is officially off the show; Katherine Heigl apparently believes she's Destined For Stardom, so she left earlier this season. Good riddance, says I. The show is much much much MUCH better without her.

I've never watched Grey's (I'm still mourning George Clooney on ER,) but I'm endlessly amused by actors who think they're better than their hit show then go on to bomb in the movies. She's obviously been taking career advice from David Caruso.
