My social life is the dictionary definition of "It's like buses". I do nothing for weeks and then everything happens all at once :)
Tomorrow lunch time it's the Energy Management's Christmas lunch. I'm not driving - the first time for a long time I've not driven to a work's do - and I plan to enjoy it. Can't get drunk, mind, gotta work in the afternoon, but it'll be nice to have a glass of something alcoholic for a change :D
After work, a coworker is giving me a lift to County Hall, where the Christmas Finance Quiz is taking place. There's going to be pizza and possibly more booze (if I remember to take a bottle), and FogHorn (remember her?) is giving me a lift home :D I call that a well-planned day.
Thursday starts off with an early doctor's appointment (nothing serious, just a check up), then a meeting after which I have to go on a site visit to St Albans with LovelyBoss. Be the last site visit I'll do *sniffs* Thursday afternoon and evening are mercifully free of engagements.
Friday I have off work. In the morning I drop the car off for its MoT. Friday afternoon I'm back in Hertford for School Funding's Christmas Dinner. Prolly go there by bus, might take a taxi back if I'm feeling indulgent. May not pick my car up until Sat morning.
Saturday afternoon it's the first Stevenage home game for 3 weeks, so I'll be at that.
Sunday I really, really need to do some shopping.
Monday I also have off work and is free so far. Last minute Christmas stuff is planned. :)
Tuesday lunchtime will be Chip Butty Lunch at work :D Apparently this is something the team did when BossBoss joined them and I've requested it as a leaving wish :) Tuesday night I'm off to see Fascinating Aida again, this time at the Charing Cross Theatre in London, with some LJ chums.
Friday 23rd is after work Christmas drinks in Hertford with the Energy Management Team and other colleagues from the department. That one I'm definitely coming home from via taxi :P It's going to be sad - it'll be the last day I work with the team as I am covering the 28th and 29th December on my own at work, letting the other 3 have the entire Christmas week off. I'm a nice mousey :) But it does mean Friday's going to be a lil' odd. But it'll be good to say goodbye at a good pub bash :)
