Scribblings from the Mitchy Side

So far it's been a Very Good Day :D

I got gifties! The ever-lovely halcyon_shift and doccy bought me 3 Judge Dee mysteries, 2 of which are unknown to me. I love new NEW books :D And jenni411 got me The Paul Newman DVD collection, which is 5 films, 4 of which I haven't seen :D Eee!!

I have scoffed my traditional brunch of scrambled eggs on toast with smoked salmon and am happily slurping Bucks Fizz :)

I've watched and giggled at "Kung Fu Panda" and will shortly settle down to listen to the Queen's Speech.

There will be more loafing then cooking of feast - roast lamb, roast spuds, roast parsnip, peas and (if I get my act together) cauliflower cheese. If I have room, there will be apple pie for dessert :D

AND if I time it all right, I shall tuck into this feast just as Dr Who starts. (I'll let you know how that works out)
