Snow!

So we had snow! Later than last year and it obligingly hit us at the weekend.

Two pics, the first was taken yesterday evening at around 8pm.



This one was taken this morning at around 6am. As you can see, the big kids have been out in it already! :D

Wow! That's... rather a lot of snow. I knew there was a cold snap going on over there (over here, too, at least in my corner of the country), but I didn't realize exactly how cold. That's a good two inches at least, isn't it?

Between 4-6 inches actually. I'd say we got around 4, based on the fact the snow came up over my ankles when I went out this morning :) Other parts of the country got more.

Ah... I'm a terrible judge of measurements (unless we're talking teaspoons and tablespoons *G*). I'm even more impressed now!
