Baaaah! Haven't done a meme for a while.

Nicked happily from [livejournal.com profile] sabaceanbabe:-

So, comment below, and I will:

1. Tell you why I friended you.
2. Associate you with something.
3. Tell you something I like about you.
4. Tell you a memory I have of you.
5. Associate you with a character/pairing.
6. Ask something I've always wanted to know about you.
7. Tell you my favorite userpic of yours.

(If No.5 isn't apt, because you're not into that side of fandom, I'll think of something else :D Or you can suggest something.)

Oh, go on, then! :)

*giggles* Totally knew you'd fall for this :D

1. Tell you why I friended you
We met at [livejournal.com profile] cookwitch's house and had nattered happily about Star Trek and other geeky things :D

2. Associate you with something.
Belgo's - Apart from my friends Rik and Carol, I've been to Belgo's more often with you and Paul than anyone else :)

3. Tell you something I like about you.
Your ability to come up with fun names for your cow-orkers which I try to emulate but can't reach the same heights. :)

4. Tell you a memory I have of you.
Heh, not one specific thing, but I always forget how tall you are until I am standing next to you and looking up :P

5. Associate you with a character/pairing.
Don't really have fannish associations for you. I do associate you with Dr Who in general :)

6. Ask something I've always wanted to know about you.
How'd you get interested in cooking? Self-preservation or did this develop earlier?

7. Tell you my favorite userpic of yours.

Because the first time I saw that, the spit take was classic.

1. Ah yes, the "What goes up might come down" dinner!

2. MmmBelgo's. In May I found one on Holborn that's totally unlike the one in Covent Garden - it's light, airy and above ground. We decided that it's much nicer that way!

3. This would be a self-preservation trick, on the off-chance that someone from work stumbles upon some of my earlier, unlocked posts.

4. I sometimes think I was born under the Beloved Who Reaches Things Down from High Places (there are maybe two people reading this who will catch the reference...)

5. None at all? Heavens...

6. It's something that I've always enjoyed, as far back as I can remember. I particularly associate it with my maternal grandparents (from whom I also got my love of plants), and it came in handy at university.

7. It is rather... <mode="George Takei">Oh, my!</mode>
