How to soothe a savage Mitchy*

Make tea and curl up on a warm, comfy sofa
Cook food (lamb chops with jacket spud will soon be miiiiine!)
Have good TV to watch (SHIELD and NCIS:New Orleans!)

I'm loving NCIS:NO, really like the characters. Some of the early eps were a bit ropey but have developed nicely as time has gone on. It's already been renewed for Season 2, so huzzah :D

I do have one confession though. I adore Lucas Black but I cannot take the accent seriously. I KNOW it's his real accent and is as genuine as it can be but there's something about it that just makes it sound fake to me. I suspect I've been too badly influenced by comic Southern characters in the past *hangs head*

* nothing serious, I suspect PMS :D

I finally (yes, I'm slow, I know) finished watching Agent Carter, and it was awesome. A really well-done miniseries. If Marvel does more of those and keeps them in the same vein and quality, I support them 100%. If Agent Carter comes back for another series, I support them 110%.

NCIS:NO doesn't grab me like the others. NCIS:LA is my favorite of the three, but maybe that's just because I like it when Deeks gets messed with. Poor Deeks.

Wasn't it great? :D I am praying for a second season but I'm seriously happy with what they did with these 8 episodes. A perfect exercise in how not to write overbloated TV shows.

I love NCIS:LA :) I kinda lost faith with the mothership but LA is great. The Sam/Callan bromance is fun to watch and Deeks being tormented is always good value. :D Also Hetty is who I want to be when I grow up.

It was great. A second season would be awesome, but no matter; this was a solid effort and a complete success. I admit, when I first heard about it I was skeptical, but they came through like a boss.

The NCIS main show is ok, but the LA characters are much more likeable and enjoyable. Abby is maybe the only person I like in the main cast. Deeks and Sam and Blye and Nell are great fun. And I can't argue with you; even I wouldn't mind being Hetty when I grow up.

Now off to find out what happened this week on Agents of SHIELD. Oh Simmons, why are you making me hate you?

Oh don't get me started with SHIELD. I've been a big supporter but I'm not entirely sure I like the direction they're taking it. Of course, it's possible there's a big Plan that will tie up with Age of Ultron but meh. And yes, Simmons is driving me up the wall this season.

I think the "inhumans" plot is going to feed in to future MCU movies, so maybe we'll have more crossover material in the future. I'm willing to roll with it, even if I'm still a little sad that Ward went all Dark Side on us. But it's ok. As long as May is there, I'm happy. She makes everything better. ;-)

Yes, the inhumans are going to be a Thing, there's even an Inhumans movie slated. I'm kinda wishing they'd get on with it though.

I am liking Hunter a lot more than I did originally. ANd Morse is awesome even if she's a traitorous ratfink :D They're keeping me watching, 'm just not thrilled about the current direction.
