Today at work was interesting.
Laaaay-deez and gennlemen! I hearby announce that Ronnie The World's Most Useless Sales Manager....WAS FIRED ON SATURDAY!
Hah! Wahoo! Yay! *does Happy Admin Boogie*
Despite being totally useless, they still had to find a good excuse to let him go - unsatisfactory references or some such twaddle. Bah. I think leaving cash that was paid for an order in a desk drawer for 3 days and then subsequently (having had a bollocking for the first incident) leaving cash on the counter and buggering off home without putting it in the safe THE VERY NEXT DAY, was more than sufficient grounds, but there you go. I'm only the hapless admin.
So we have a new manager and a new sales manager starting this week. Interesting Mr Bond. At least I'll see the new guys before I clear off for a week.
Oh yeh, holiday looms! *Happy sighs* Four days and counting.......*counts*
I've come up with a cunning plan. I'm going to see how much I relax and unwind over the week. If by the Friday I feel just as tense and miserable as I do now, I'm going to go to the Doc and see if I have grounds for being signed off for stress. And use the time to get something else because this job ain't worth my health. Nu-uh.
