So here's how the sleep pattern has gone this week.

Thursday: Crash out around 7am. Get up around 2pm.
Friday: Am shattered so crawl into bed at midnight. Sleep solidly for 4 hours and wake up bright eyed and bushy tailed at 4am. Fail to go back to sleep. Not pleased.
Saturday: Cut down on tea. Go to bed at sensible time. Get eight hour sleep, albeit with a half hour interruption around 5am.
Sunday: Up at 9am, tired but I wake up as day goes on. By 7pm am yawning head off, have 10 minute involuntary nap on sofa. 10pm go to bed, read for a while. 11.30pm, turn light off, crash out. 2am wake up again. Fail to go back to sleep. Deeply, deeply displeased.

I can't figure these patterns out. What's with the power snooze followed by wakefulness? *grumbles* Anyway, I'm up, I'm pottering about and I hope to get at least four hours more kip in a little while.

In other non-news, we did an EXCELLENT Mortals RP scene Saturday evening, which has left my mortal Casey along with [livejournal.com profile] therealsherbs's mortal Nico stuck in a cell together. Sherbski and I were doing the Happy RP dance of glee at this. The comedy potential, the angst potential and character development potential is huge. We know the characters are going to be in the cell for about 24 hours so that's how much time we have to play with before we do the next chapter in the storyline next Saturday :) It's going to be oodles of fun. *bounces* I was up at 9am yesterday especially so I could snag Sherbs for some RP. *grins*

And [livejournal.com profile] lithium_doll is RP-ing again. Hurrah!!! *does happy dance* She brings the snark :)

Now I shall go and see if I can track down the theme song to "Rescue Me" because I have it Stuck In My Head and I need to Stop It.

ETA: Woo hoo! "C'mon C'mon" by The Von Bondies. Excellent! I've downloaded three of their songs now. I may have to investigate cd purchase.
Mood:: 'aggravated' aggravated

1 hour down, just 23 more to go . . . what's the odds on only one getting out alive?

Could the "song in the head" issue be a side-effect of RP incarceration? Your brain's providing a soundtrack for extended characterisation ...

*giggles lots* I hadn't thought of that!

Sherbs is right though, it's not a question of being rescued, it's a question of will they manage not to kill each other before they're released :D

In my experience you don't need to lock two characters (or indeed players) in a small room for 24 hours before they become tempted to obliterate each other ...

Nobody is going to rescue us this time. We're doomed to kill each other for the amusement of our captors.

Can you seriously imagine that we would not take a transcript? . . . both of us?
