Well, very little actually, but I did make myself get off my fat, lazy ass and go for a walk for an hour. It was far too nice a day to spend it indoors! So I had a lovely stroll along some of the nearby walks that I drive past every morning. I am ashamed to confess that I've lived here 13 years and until today, had no idea there was a pond with lots of wildlife less than 10 minutes stroll from my front door *hangs head*
I took my camera for the stroll too, but due to technical problems I mentioned in the previous post, couldn't take as many pics as I wanted. I did get some shots though and once I've played with them on Photoshop, I shall upload them to my shiny new Flickr account and share them with you. WGC can look beautiful in Spring and Summer and I want to show it off a bit :) It's got "Garden" in it's name for a reason, after all.
Before I went out, I watched the season finale of Cold Case *sniffles*. And I'm not just sniffling cos it was the last ep, I'm sniffling because it was a beautiful show, terrific story and suitably sappy ending. Good to see it's going out on a positive note and they've even managed to soften the new love interest for Lily enough that he might actually be interesting rather than annoying. I'll be interested to see if they follow this up at all next season - CC is notorious for dropping story lines and character arcs.
I have oodles of Grey's Anatomy and Without A Trace episodes to catch up on. Ye gods. Ah well, I have a 4 day weekend next week, so at least I'll have something to do other than hyperventilate about Chess :D
Talking of which...

Kerry Ellis came to my attention when I saw her in Wicked, where she is currently playing Elphaba - that would be the green girl in this picture :) She'll be playing Svetlana and, as I mentioned in a previous post, she'll get to do the big duet with Idina, "I Know Him So Well". It'll be the only song she sings in the show but wow, what a song :) It might seem odd that she'd take such a small role but she's a really busy lady right now. Not only is she still appearing in Wicked 8 times a week but when she finishes her run on June 7th, she's flying to NYC where, 10 days later, she'll start a run as Elphaba in the Broadway production. Yikes! That's some turn around! There's a chance I might get to see her when she's in NYC...hmm. That'd be worth doing, actually :)
