Always my favourite day of the week. I was planning to go into Watford until I realised I'd have to drive down a major motorway to get there - the right rear indicator on my car is faulty which makes it risky to drive. Also illegal :P I don't mind risking it to go to the store locally but I'm pushing my luck on a motorway. So I'll have to scramble about this week to get a replacement unit and hopefully I can go next weekend. Or at least have more time to arrange getting there by bus if all else fails.

The reason I need to go is I've got an order for pickup at the Lakeland store there. I maaaaaay have had a minor shopping accident on their website on New Year's Day *koff* Anyway, I rang the store and they're holding the order for me until next weekend, no problem.

So today has been spent loafing on the internet, as usual :D Tonight I shall watch the first two NFL Wildcard games, which will make up for the lack of proper football on TV this weekend (FA Cup weekend so no Premier or Championship games.)

I'm seeing a car I'm interested in buying tomorrow, it's a Citreon C3 Diesel 2004, looks very well looked after, very low mileage, £35 road tax (!), all the trimmings etc.

I know very little about Citreons having never owned one but I've not heard anything too dire - anyone got a different tale?

My real query is about it being a diesel - I know diesel is more expensive but I gather you get the most fantastic mpg. The ad's claiming 80 mpg for long runs and 60mpg for about town, which is phenomenal if true. Anyone have any experience with diesel cars? Please advise a mousey!
