Scribblings from the Mitchy Side

You're all shiny and new, just like my laptop! But so far, my laptop has more of my interest :D Go on 2010, prove you're worthy of the comparison! I dare you!

Had a lovely day/evening yesterday at halcyon_shift and doccy's - I may have slept in a smidge *cough* and then I was fed Doccy's awesome cooked breakfast for late breakfast brunch lunch. We toddled over to PC World to snag the laptop I may have mentioned in passing then voted for coming home and playing silly games instead of a lightning visit to Plymouth Aquarium.

We played obscene amounts of Settlers, guzzled cider, eggnog and tea (not all at once), ate yummy foodstuffs (cheesey nachos for the win!) and then turned on the TV to listen to Big Ben clanging in the New Year and admire the stunning firework display around the London Eye.

Sadly, because we're old and knackered, we all went to bed shortly thereafter. I maaaay have stayed up for a while playing with my shiny new laptop (don't know if I mentioned that?)

Shortly, I'm being fed scrambled eggs, smoked salmon and Bucks Fizz and then we're scampering off to Land's End and the Dr Who exhibition. Hopefully we'll be back in time to watch Part II of Dr Who "The End of Time" this evening :D

I've had worse starts to a year :D :D :D
