Scribblings from the Mitchy Side

I am absolutely cream crackered. Work is very, very busy and as I'm trying to make up the time I lost Tuesday morning, my days have been long. Which has actually been useful, cos I've got lots done, but deary me, I'm a tired mousey.

If PartyGirl doesn't say something nice tomorrow about the VAST amounts of work I did after she left, there's gonna be muttering. I bit her head off a bit this morning, most unfairly, and I apologised, but things were cool for a while. However, if she sits on her arse tomorrow and goes "Oh I'M so busy!" I am going to have to leave the room and hits things because she's doing sweet sod all. I must be doing a good two thirds of her job right now. It's supposed to be the other way around!

Actually it's interesting because we finally have a new Office Manager. She started on Monday and seems to be throwing herself into things with enthusiasm and *gasp shock horror* actual competence. Also, BullyGirl doesn't like her, which is a bonus :D So far, she's ignored me and Gill, which is fair enough, because there's more than enough for her to get to grips with elsewhere. But I am wondering if she's taking notice of the office dynamic and making mental notes. She does look the sort who doesn't miss much. With our main manager away on holiday (he's in Jamaica, the scummy bastard!), and the other manager being rushed off his feet, there's no-one really around to see what's going on.

*shrugs* Eh, at least I know Gill admits she couldn't do what she does without me and she has said as much to the main manager. Just hope we're still busy enough when he comes back for him to see it for himself.

Anyway, re: birthday plottings, here's a link to the Belgo's site, for anyone who wants to peer at the menu. I've raved about the food here before, but let me reiterate. It's FANTASTIC!! And the beers are outstandingly good :)
