Scribblings from the Mitchy Side

I am aware that I've not been posting much and when I have, I've been whinging. So here's happy post!

First of all, I was paid on Friday and I got two week's salary! Hurrah! The damage appears to have been minor so here's hoping.

Now regular readers of my ramblings will know that when I go and visit Aunty Eve we usually have lunch at The Snoring Owl restaurant. I've been raving about this place for ages and every time I go, I keep thinking to myself I must take cookwitch and thalinoviel there because the farm shop alone will make them go "Squeeee!". So yesterday I finally did!

It was a good day and Janey and Lisa adored The Snoring Owl to bits and pieces and are plotting to take nearest and dearest there as soon as possible. There's a food tasting event there next weekend and we're all tempted to go. I may well go to console myself for not going to this event in Manchester but we'll see.

All in all, a grand day out! Cracking cheese, Gromit!
