Scribblings from the Mitchy Side

....in no particular order of importance


1) The number of stairs you need to negotiate to get from A to B in London can't be appreciated until you're with someone using crutches to get around. Good grief! London Underground, do something!!

2) The Knight's Templar pub in Chancery Lane has a superb range of ciders/perrys AND does great food! I may move in.

3) The Central Line sucks rocks.

4) I ate waaaaay too much - but damn, the mixed grill was goooood *drools*

5) I have more new tea to try and a new mug with kitty cats on :) I'm getting quite the collection. Thanks for my pressie, Yshala!

6) It's bloody cold out.

7) WGC taxis have put up their base rate for fares after 11pm (used to be price started at £2.50, now it's gone up to £3.00, just for getting in the damn cab. *grumbles*)

8) I'm supposed to be in work earlier tomorrow.......

9) I really, really shouldn't have had that large coffee with three sugars on the train home.

Just a brief note on what I'm up to. This may sound nuts, but I like to leave some word of where I planned to be in case "anything happens". Like, for instance, I don't show up online for two or three days with no explanation :P

Meeting Yshala WINOLJ in London after work. Meeting at The Knights's Templar pub in Chancery Lane around 8pm for food, booze and another belated birthday present. In addition, I'll be getting in earlier so I can do some guilt free spending of birthday tokens! Glee!!! Hoping to go into work late on Friday - they owe me a bit of time from last week.

And now I must go to bed and get my beauty sleep :)
