So I didn't make it into work today *sighs* Buggerit. A 3 day paid week is not good but I do have some monies coming in so that'll help.
I felt fine on Saturday during the day. Saturday evening I started sniffling. "Bloody allergies!" I bitched as my nose kept running and I failed to find any of my anti-histamine tablets. Sunday I woke up with a head that felt like it was packed full of wet cotton wool and a very blocked up nose. "Ah. Not allergies, I've caught a cold. Oh joy..*cough chough wheeeeze" and oh bollocks, it's gone down onto my chest."
Naturally it's a Bank Holiday so I had to wait until today to get my asthma prescription re-filled. My fault for forgetting to put it in Friday but under the normal swing of things it wouldn't have mattered. Bah!
Anyway I feel better today but still very wheezy so reluctantly but, I suspect, wisely I called in sick. I'd had no sleep at all, to speak of, and when I did try and sleep today, I was restless and kept waking up. Hopefully the asthma inhaler will kick in this evening and I'll have a good night's sleep and feel a happier Mitchy tomorrow.
In the meantime, I have tea and a squishy cake (because my sweet tooth demanded it). Life could be worse :)
*sends huggles to her flist* How are you?
