Brrr!

I was thinking to myself this morning "Self, it's chillier than usual this morning, even the cat seems really eager to burrow into my duvet. Must be cold out." and then I went outside to nip to the shops. I guess sleet is a good indication that the temperature's dropped :P What a wet, icky cold day! Still, I've done what I needed to do, I've got supplies, I can curl up in the warm for the rest of the day and enjoy watching my sports :)

Sleet, yick. Sounds like a good day to curl up w/ hot chocolate & a good book. :-)

Which is pretty much how I spent the last few hours - curled up under the duvet watching football with the cat nesting on top of me :D *purrs*

Ya know, it's cold here, too and WAHHHH I am not UP for five more months of coldness. At least today it is sunny. (which is actually something)

Cold is not fun. Me no likee.

I'd have thought you'd be used it, living where you do :) And as Jenni points out, 's a good excuse to curl up with a good book!

Ugh. I don't like cold and I can't stand wet. Put together, they're pretty much the worst thing ever. I'd rather have a 110 degree day (don't ask me what the celcius for that is. *g*)

I dunno, you can do stuff to keep warm - multiple layers, crank the heat, cuddle a hot water bottle - but there's very little you can do to cool down in public that won't get you arrested for public indencency :)

There is that. OTOH, you meet the nicest people (or several members of my family) in jail. *g*
