LOL! These days the only show I'm watching is "Once Upon On A Time." (Unless you count "Timmy Time" and "Go Diego Go!" Both of which play regularly at my house.) But we're having a lot of fun with it.

It started as something I watched because it was on Netflix Instant View and I didn't have to turn off everytime a kid walked into the room (I watched the first 40 minutes of Battle Royale 5 minutes at a time and I still haven't seen the end of it after four months.) Then the kids started getting into it and it turned into a race to see who could get through all the episodes of season 1 first.

I could have won, if I'd stayed home sick for three days, like someone else. *pout*

I tried Nuevo 5-0 during season 1 (watched years of the original with my Grandma!) What wasn't to love? The scenery. Boomer! Daniel Dae Kim. Scott Caan is grossly underused, you're right. Alex O'Laughlin. *sigh* Was NOT thrilled with Moonlight, and I ate Anne Rice up with a spoon back in the day. He. Just. Doesn't. Work. Not for me, anyway. Kept DVRing it and not watching it until I deleted it from my hard drive.

I haven't gotten a chance to watch Arrow yet. Is Katie Black Canary? I liked her on Supernatural (definitely the better Ruby) and Harper's Island, but she still has a lot to learn.

*petses the TV deprived*

Yes, Katie is (or rather, will/could be) the Black Canary. I have no idea if she'll actually become that character in the show but they have established that her character can kick serious arse so maybe :)

I second the recommendation of "Once Upon a Time", even if it's filled with Disney characters. (ABC, the OUaT network, is owned by Disney.) It's been pre-empted this week because of the American Music Awards and I am Not Pleased.

In a similar vein, but much darker, have you seen "Grimm"? I'm totally hooked on that one.

I saw and loved the first episode of Grimm, but it's much darker and harder to watch with young kids around. I was actually adding to my Netflix queue when Once Upon A Time came up as a suggestion and I decided to try it.

Unfortunately, I made the mistake of buying a Wii U this weekend. It's going to be a year before I'm allowed near the TV again.

I finally got through Battle Royale! (I sent my 3 year old to Daycare on a day I had off and locked the other children in their rooms [okay, fine, they were in the playroom ignoring what I was watching in favor of fighting over the computers.])

I can see why people compare The Hunger Games to it, but there are a lot of differences as well.
