Ok, I can get back into a regular sleeping pattern any time now. Annnnny time now :P

Haven't done much today, keep dozing in between mild bursts of activity. At this rate I'll be in bed by 9 - which, actually, probably wouldn't do me any harm at all.

I downloaded Numb3rs - eh. I dunno, seems to me they're running out of ideas. But I'll give them major kudos for staging a huge and impressive train wreck. ER/ Grey's eat your heart out :)

And now I chug tea.

I don't think eating that much houmous and that many crisps this early was a good idea. *whimpers* But I was hungry! *whines* And they were right there tormenting me! :P

I never learn...

In better news, yay [livejournal.com profile] bibliogirl! Your book arrived today, many thanks :) It's next on the list of Books to be Read.

I'm actually pondering having a huge cull of my books. I know I've got many that I'll never read again and, frankly, I could use the space. It's what to do with them that bothers me. I could hold a book sale I 'spose but ideally, once anyone on my flist has had first pick obviously, what I'd like is to find a second hand bookshop that would buy 'em off me as a job lot. At least I might make a few pennies. Anyone know a good place?

Just watched the latest episode of Numb3rs. It hasn't been wowing me this season but it's been better than last season. I'm liking the replacement they've brought in for Diane Farr's character, she's a good addition to the mix. As a very junior agent, she can screw up and piss people off and bring an edge to the proceedings that couldn't happen with the existing characters, at least not now they've got years of working together under their belts. The "Charlie's security clearance" thing is getting a little old but I think it's being wrapped up next week. Hope so, they need Charlie back in the FBI, the stories will go much more smoothly.

*streeetches* Today I plan to do some laundry and watch football and, quite possibly, have a snooze or two. I didn't sleep well again last night, its getting irritating. I go to bed on time, I'm not having tea late at night and yet, somehow, I'm still awake, albeit dozily, at 3am, 4am, 5am. Last night, I got up at 5am and played on the computer for half an hour, then rearranged all my bedding and tried again. Slept like a log after that and woke up about 10.30am but I'm still pretty groggy. I think I can risk a nap today provided I don't sleep too long and don't have the nap too late in the day. I suspect this is a result of not being more active during the day, so I'm going to try getting out and about a bit. Might go over to Morrison's after the football and get a couple of bits and pieces I forgot to order from Tesco's. At least that'll get me walking about and out of the flat.

[livejournal.com profile] thalinoviel, are you up for the cinema on Tuesday? There's a few things on I wouldn't mind seeing and I think I'm up to an evening out, especially as it'll involve ice cream and sitting on my arse for a couple of hours. I'm really good at that :P

When I was scarfing up gossip about my favourite shows before the new seasons started, I read that there would be a recurring new character in Numb3rs, a comic book guy who'd get involved in an investigation. Well the role's been cast - and Wil Wheaton got the part! Squeee! Hopefully he'll blog about it in some detail; he's already talked about the audition. This is gonna be so cool :)

My Saturday started a smidge earlier than I wanted, when I was woken up at 5.30am with severe stomach gripes. An hour and a half later, whatever upset my stomach finally deigned to exit. Ye gods. Not the way I like starting a day, glued to the bog! On the plus side, I got to download the latest Numb3rs ep nice and early :)

I did go back to bed around 8.30 am though, because I was a tiredy mouse. Woke up about 12.30 and feel pretty good. Even the throat isn't as annoying, so yay for that. And now I've watched Numb3rs (which was brilliant, it was my favourite kind of episode!), and I'm currently watching the most hilarious rugby match ever. If you don't follow Rugby Union and the Six Nations tournament, let me explain that Italy are considered weak opponents. The five home nations are expected to paste them and usually do, although England made hard work of it a couple of weeks ago. In the four/five years since Italy joined the tournament, they've only won 2 games.

*sniggers a lot*

They're currently thumping Scotland 21-0, having scored 3 tries in the opening six minutes of the match, one from a mis-kick that was intercepted, and two from intercepted passed. I've never seen anything like it, it's comedy gold! *abandons Bones DVD and curls up happily to watch the game*

So the commute went much better today. I caught the 8.01 from WGC, got to Stevenage on time, neeearly missed the 8.30 because I went to the wrong platform (it was on that platform yesterday, dammit!) but got aboard the train as the "doors are about to close" beeping started :) Got to Hertford just before 8.45 and by dint of determined scampering, got to work for 9.05am. Not bad, sez I.

Tomorrow morning I have a lift! Yay! Foghorn is doing the honours. I'll have to catch a train home but there we go.

Have a Plan A, Plan B and Plan C for getting out of this mess. Will let you know which (if any) works :)

And now I must have my evening fix of Numb3rs! How badly am I addicted? Weeeell, I haven't got around to watching last week's episode of Grey's Anatomy yet!! Eek!
